Fire Hoses

New hoses must be hydraulically tested after the fifth year of operation.  Then, every three years afterwards.  Hoses are subject to withstand 250 psi of water pressure.

There are different types of fire extinguishers depending on the area and materials to protect.  Normally, a type ABC extinguisher will provide a full coverage.  However, there are equipments that are subject to damage by these units.  

 For computers, electric/communication rooms a type CO2 extinguishers will provide full protection without damage.  

Commercial kitchens requiere a Type K fire extinguisher,  ABC type extinguishers should not be used in kitchens.
